the adventure begins....

This morning we arrived to check on our latest addition only to find her mother, Abby, had passed away overnight.  She was an older cow that never seemed to pick up after her trip south from Colorado.  Her last act was to give birth to her calf....we took the baby to our vet for a check up and to ensure she was stable.  After ensuring she had received Colostrum before Abby passed, the vet gave her a clean bill of health.  And now the bottle feeding adventure begins.....
