 I often hear Shiraz referred to as "Miss Piggy" and I am beginning to realize why! She is most often the first in line for her handful of cubes and will generally leave the herd anytime we appear in hopes we have something for her. It seems the apple has not fallen far from the tree...her daughter, Millie, has this same attitude. Shiraz is expecting her second calf in the next week or so so perhaps she's eating for two?!?!

 So I didn't get to go on the road trip to visit Isis and her new little heifer but the pictures look cute! The little heifer is another TJ calf and Isis's first baby. Here they are photographed....look at the size difference!! Those TJ babies certainly are small! Looks like all is well with Isis and her new addition and they are definitely enjoying their new home...  happy after a good meal... |
