Around here, you will hear two people referred to as "the boy"....and I wasn't the one that graduated!  But I hear congratulations are in order for Julian, who graduated in May from Georgetown University.  Hopefully, he'll come back to visit this summer and won't forget about me (and the cows!).

It seems my entourage is growing!  Here are two of my fans....they like to visit the cows each night with me.  Pudge is still afraid of them and stays out of the fence but that is probably a good thing since she only weighs 6lbs!  Pinkie and Blackie finally learned not to bark at the minis (what can I say - not every dog can have my brains AND good looks!).

TJ and the girls are enjoying their summer vacation in the back field.  They seem to spend their days lounging under trees, wallowing in the pond and eating.  Hard to believe in less than 9 months, they will be mothers again!

I have decided that in my spare time, I would like to be a model.  You may laugh but I am serious!  A few weeks ago, I had my first photo shoot and I was a big hit!  I was a little concerned when tons of cars drove up the driveway with endless streams of children (I think there had to be atleast twenty!!) but it turns out, its all in a days work....if you are a pro like me, that is.  Maybe you will even see me in some ads and in case you are wondering, yes, I did take that candied apple.  It was just too hard to resist and it was right at my level.  You know what they say about taking candy from children...

Last week, Sugar and Lilly went on a field trip to the vet so that Sugar could have her AI procedure.  Lilly came back without horns and she wasn't too happy about it!  She steered clear of me for a few days but it looks like she is starting to forgive me.  Next week, Rosie and the bull calf go for their procedure...

Its hard to believe but the babies will be 4 months old at the end of May and I hear they will be weaned in early June.  Apparently the arrival of our human addition in September is prompting the timely weaning and halter breaking. 

I decided to take a well earned break this past month....and only after a recent modeling job (I am not kidding - but more on that later), am I ready to resume my blog.

A few updates.....we are still waiting for Shiraz to calf (guess that AI didn't take after all)....there is yet ANOTHER dog at my house (her name is Cappy but you will meet her another time)....and I just celebrated my 5th birthday and the 1 yr anniversary of my blog!!!  I am still waiting for presents from my readers....
