Elvis spends most of his time lounging in the field, butting heads with TJ or rubbing his back on a low hanging branch.  Today he took time out of his busy schedule to admire his latest offspring - his heifer calf with Sioux!

At long last!!!  Sioux gave birth to a little heifer calf last night.  Of course it was dark and raining - not to mention WAY past my bedtime - so I stayed in the house.  First thing this morning I went to see my new friend....hopefully her mother cleans her up!

Alice is DEFINITELY taking full advantage of "eating for two"....since she is in such "good condition" (aka fat!), she is only allowed hay.  Today she decided she had enough of that and helped herself while Little Dog looked on.

Well, still no babies but everyone has been moved to the front field in anticipation of calving....January is going to be an exciting month!  I am just waiting and watching....
